In brief
Khinalig sits in the mountains of the Quba district. Its people speak Khinalug, a Caucasian language spoken nowhere else.
In 2023 the cultural landscape of Khinalig and the “Köç Yolu” transhumance route were inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List.
